For auction is an Athearn Blue box type drive, with a modified Athearn cab BN #442 SW 1000B, which was in a collision and rebuilt into a cabless unit.. Modified shell used styrene to model the cabless unit and install nonworking headlights where the cab used to be. Many details include MU hoses, coupler cut bars, grab irons, fuel fillers and hand bent metal handrails. A Richmond Controls lighting kit is installed, NWSL wheels and an Ernst re-gear kit is installed as well, runs good. KD Metal couplers and motor is hard wired to trucks. This engine was made to MU with the SW 1500 #3442 (another auction) the locomotives run great together and the lights kits were installed to work together too. .This is a good running little loco that worked good for for a few years now.
