You are bidding on an Athearn C44-9W Factory painted for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe. This unit came with no number and was custom numbered to 999. I chose this number because this was one of the last units to come from the GE Factory in Erie, PA, equipped with all the small antenna and not the big white round dome. This unit has many details added and is also equipped with Miniatronics 1.5v lights for constant lighting both forward and reverse. This unit is DC and not DCC. I will send this unit in one of the newer Athearn RTR boxes to prevent damage but this unit was a new blue box unit never run except to test the constant lighting. This unit has the following details added. Details West ; Ditch lights that were drilled out for lights, fuel tank brackets, brass horn, fuel tank mounted bell, m.u. cable and boxes, snow plow, sand filler covers, sinclare and cone antenna and highly detailed air tanks on the engineer's side: Detail Associates ; several different sizes of grab irons, brake wheel, wiper blades, brass sun shades, m.u. hoses, etched metal radiator grills and A.C. fan cover: Smokey Valley brass handrails: AMB laser cut flush fitting windows: Kadee #5 couplers and custom bent brake air lines.
