This is a rare, stunning and postcard taken from the original photograph by Bob Carlos Clarke, entitled "Cigarette Girl". By the late 1970s Bob Carlos Clarke was established as a first-call fashion, portrait and commercial photographer. However, he was most celebrated for his erotic and fetish photography. Carlos Clarke had a worldwide hit in 1995 with The Dark Summer, a book whose unconventionally sensual imagery and flawless black and white photography made it a word-of-mouth bestseller. His monochrome pictures rank as some of his most beautiful and subversive works. Bob was killed in a tragic accident on 25 March 2006 .The postcard is unused and in pristine condition with no rips, tears or creases.It is a standard size, measuring approx 15x10.5cm, with the usual stamp and address section printed on the reverse of this high quality glossy postcard.
