Offered for your bid is a fabulous Barbie doll which was released as an exclusive design alliance with the well known fashion designer, Bob Mackie. This is the first in a series of Barbie's which were released under the auspices and desing of Bob Mackie. Barbie is in a magnificent long gold sequined gown with fantail bottom and with criss cross bodice highly decorated with gold and silver beads which flow to the waistline of the gown. Barbie is wearing gold closed toe shoes. She has two gold and silver beaded bracelets rhinestoned earrings. She is wearing a gold ring. Her hair is in a full ponytail with gold lame band decorated with rhinestones. She is encased in the original thick plastic casing which is embossed "Barbie" and also has a facsimile signature of Bob Mackie. On the reverse is a drawing of Barbie along with what I believe to be an original autograph with year of Bob Mackie. Also included is the Barbie stand (part of which is inside the case as distributed by Mattel). T is also the feather boa which has never been unpacked and all of the paperwork including the brochure, stand instructions and even the original warranty card which was never mailed in.
