This knife is (almost) literally the mother of all tactical folding knives.Bob Terzuola is one of the greatest folding knife makers in the business, and the ATCF is one of his most famous and influential designs. I bought this knife many years ago from another collector. I carried it a couple times and probably opened a letter or two, but it has never seen real use, water, or any other hazards. It's still in great shape, though as mentioned the titanium handles show some light scuffs and scrapes from my pocket and my desk drawer. It's the nature of titanium to scuff easily, and look good doing it. One quirk of this particular knife is that the stop pin will rattle a bit when the knife is closed. This never really bothered me, but if it bothers you I'm sure Mr. Terzuola (or a drop of silicon glue) could take care of the problem. As mentioned, the knife has titanium handles. Given the age of the knife (maybe 10 years old?), I'm guessing the blade is ATS-34, but I don't really know. The spacer appears to be micarta, in a dark burgundy color.
