BOEHM Black-Capped Chickadee #438 We are pleased to offer this beautiful BOEHM Black-Capped Chickadee #438 . We discovered this gem in a local old estate sale - and I am very, very pleased to offer an original and authentic Boehm figurine this week. This auction is for a vintage 9" tall, 4" wide large figurine - a very pretty Boehm piece titled Black-Capped Chickadee. It is in good condition - after purchase, I examined it closely and as typical for such a piece as this, I found two chips on one of the leaves, and also noticed that the very tip of the tail is chipped off. I see no other damage. Viewed from the front, the damage is hardly noticeable, and this still makes a stunning display piece (see all photos below). Printed on the bottom is "Boehm Black-Capped Chickadee ~ 438 ~ Made in U.S.A." Hand signed with a "V". Beautifully painted - this is a rare Boehm bird - sure to make the winning bidder very pleased.
