MD-80 Delta 1/100 Resin Desktop Model Airplane High Quality Handcrafted Desktop Model I have only displayed the model and its in perfect condition and has its origanil box. It is almost to the quality of a PacMin model. The popular MD-80 series is a stretched and improved development of the McDonnell Douglas DC-9. First flown as the DC-9 Super 80 in 1979, the MD-80 had a longer wingspan and fuselage length, updated systems and more fuel-efficient engines than the Series 50. The MD-80 Series of twinjets, featuring many advances in technology, was certified by the Federal Aviation Administration in August 1980 and entered airline service three months later.
