This auction is for a VERY used Bogen Challenger CHB 35A series K77 tube amplifier 35 Watts for public address system or guitar. It is in rough condition but is functional as far as I can tell. The knobs on the front of the unit are for Mic 1, Input 2, Aux 1 & 2, Master Volume, Bass and Treble. On the back of the unit are a 150W AC output female plug, a speaker output strip for 4, 8, and 16 ohm impedances (25V and 70V), RCA jacks for HI-Z, TAPE/BOOSTER, AUX 1, AUX 2, MAG, MIC 2 and MIC 1. I tested most of the functions and jacks and all work. However, when the knobs on the front are turned, static and loud crackles are emitted. This amplifier came from an estate and I do not know how much life it has left in it. This is the second Bogen CHB 35A that came from that estate. The first one was in youthful condition. This one must be the older weatd brother. It may be more suitable for parts, but I don't really know, since everything I tested functions. The unit is missing the label disks for some of the knobs. The case is stained and a little rusty and has some paint loss on the bottom despite my attempts to clean it. It has all four feet but the back cover is missing.
