This is a nice paler yellow with hints of brown, which kind of reminds me of an antique yellow. Very nice. Since it is natural bone, the yellow color will vary from one to another, but that's what makes each one unique. This would make a great addition to your German knife collection. About Boker – Heinr. Böker Baumwerk Gmbh founded in 1869, has been producing the very popular Böker Tree Brand knives for over a century. The name "Böker Arbolito Tree Brand" has got nothing in common with the agricultural or forestry industries, contrary to what the name would seem to suggest. The tree in the center of the Boker logo commemorates the chestnut tree that shaded the Boker factory from the time it was founded in the late 17th century until 1925 when it was struck by lightning.
