BOLEX P1 ZOOMREFLEX with SOM BERTHIOT 8-40mm f/1.9 LENS -NICE Comes in original superb condition fitted case together with lens hood & cap, filters, rewind handle & declic 'D' trigger handle grip & duplicated instruction book This fantastic camera is in exceptional condition considering how old it is, & appears to have been manufactured in 1962. It is considered to be the best of the P series cameras, having the range-finder aid and a more powerful zoom compared with the subsequent P2 which was less expensive. The casing is made of highly polished Duralaminium & is covered in genuine Morocco leather. Metal parts are chrome plated. It takes 25 foot spools of double run 8mm film; (50 foot at 16fps will give about 4 minutes in the projector) These cameras are undergoing a renaissance in shooting Ads, Music Videos, Documentary, Animation & Features & the modern film stocks give saturated colours for some exciting filming No batteries required for the motor~it has a constant speed, spring motor mechanism, governor controlled, which cannot be over wound; so its ideal to use anywhere.
