Bombardier Canadair CL-415 ModelThis model is still in original packaging, including sealed parts envelopes (see pictures). This is a model that Bombardier used as part of their marketing campaign for the aircraft.All plastic, approximately 11" wingspan. A RARE find.The Canadair CL-415 ( Superscooper , later Bombardier 415 ) is an amphibious aircraft built originally by Canadair. It is based on the Canadair CL-215 and is designed specifically for aerial firefighting; it can perform various other roles, such as search and rescue and utility transport. Operating world-wide and is becoming one of the best known firefighting role. This is the turbo-prop version of the original P&W R2800 radial engine powered CL-215.
