Bonnie MacLeary (1890-1971) was a sculptor and member of the National Academy of Design. Her work is in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art another fine art museums.This piece titled "Ouch" is one of her's that used children as a subject. The child is rendered in bronze with a reinforced base. It likely dates to the late 1920s or early 1930s. This piece is signed by MacLeary, numbered 107, and has Gorham Co.'s foundry mark. It is in very good condition with very minor verdigris and an even brown patina.6 1/2" TallZEESST
