I have up for Sale: a John Wright Original Book Of Knowledge "Mechanical Humpty Dumpty Bank". This bank comes with The an Original John Wright Box #56 out of 200 made. Ceriificate Of Authenticity, and the original Warrantee/Instuctions slip! This bank is Number #1270 on page 9 of the John Wright General Store Booklet. Check out Item #1049141601 for more information on this booklet. This bank is in Near Mint Condition and works great, I have not seen one in better shape! I took it out of the shrink wrap just to take the piture. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE FAKE ONES!! This also has no USA ON the bottom, that makes it one of the first banks from the 1950s made. 1974 and newer, has the USA Stamped on the bottom . With John Wright Mechanical Banks you have moved up to INVESTMENT Grade Bank Collecting. I believe the Book Of Knowledge Banks have the upside Potential that the old original mechanical banks from the 1800's have now!
