This auction is for a blue Custom Painted Boston & Maine Locomotive for Athearn GP38 Powered . The engine number is 208 . The graphics are detailed and sharp. The Boston & Maine was chartered in 1835. Over the years, it grew into a Class I railroad through mergers and suffered bankruptcies. In 1983 it was bought by Guilford Transportation. This is NEW old stock. The engine is in its original box. I believe they are at least 15 years old. These are part of a large private collection that I will be posting as time permits.
