Several years ago we bought a new boat. At the time the factory, Boston Whaler, had a promotion going on. Buy a new boat and get a VERY detailed scale model of the first Whaler made. This display came in it's own acrylic dust free case. This is a metal die cast, not a plastic toy. The overall size, including that trailer, is about 12"long. My guess is the display case is about 16" long.The detail is somewhat incredible. The boat comes with an anchor with a line, two fishing rods that fit in the rod holders with line, a paddle, life vest, anchorwell cover, even the trailer winch. The trailer is metal also, with rubber tires. The style of the Mercury engine appears to be late 60's or early 70's. We did not take it out of the box, in fact the first time I saw it was to take the photos. This is NOT a child's toy. This model would be great in your office or den. Even more so if you happen to have a personal history with this era boat. This scale model was never sold or for sale, the only way to get one was to buy a new boat that season. We love our boat but have no attachement to this display. Still in original packing, which is shown in a couple the photos. Thanks for looking.
