For your consideration is an older surveying level or transit made by BOSTROM SURVEYING INSTRUMENTS - Bostrom-Brady Mfg. Co., Atlanta, GA USA. Included with this offering is the wooden box and the plumb bob - the box shows considerable use and wear (leather handles are broken and partially missing, and the top board has been beat up badly). However, the level itself appears to be in excellent condition - it screws onto a tripod (not included), has 4 leveling adjustment knobs, several other adjusting knobs, a liquid filled level, 4 quadrants of 90 degree markings, a side degree angle gauge, etc. The metal label on the box says that it is Model #5 with a serial # of 47. Shipping weight of 11 pounds. Steel - copper - brass metals. For you far away US buyers, Large Flat Rate Postage would be MAX of $15.00.
