A perfect wedding or wedding anniversary gift for your favorite Bowdoin College alum! Next, a scarce circa 1940 10" Adams Old English Staffordshire plate made for the Stowe House when it was still an inn. Great shape with a couple knife marks. Finally, a 10 1/4 inch 1931 Wedgwood blue plate with the rare, first edition Longfellow quote to the reverse. A truly rare set that would and did take a lengthy concerted effort to amass.
