You are buying a brand new Bowen Designs Marvel Comics Spider-man VENOM limited edition statue. This fully painted statue stands over 13 inches tall, sculpted by the Kucharek Brothers, comes ready to display, and is fully painted. This statue is brand new, never been removed from the box and never been displayed. The Bowen SRP for this statue is $190.00 + shipping. Bowen Designs has indicated that this item is sold out at the factory level. Venom, aka Eddie Brock actually was an alien Symbiot living being that Spider-Man brought back to Earth from the planet Battleworld. Ultimately the alien tried to bond with and take over Spider-man. with the help of the FF4, Spider-man managed to seperate the Alien symbiot that took the form of of a costume, or any form for that matter of the person the alien was bonded with. In a battle to separate the alien from himself, the alien came across Eddie Brock. The symbiot bonded with Eddie and the combination became Venom. The first appearance of Venom as just the suit was in (as alien costume) SECRET WARS #8, (behind the scenes) WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #18, but his actual appearance was in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #300.
