Early Bone Handle Bowie This Bowie is possibly Cowboy or Civil War. It measures 11 1/4" over all length. The blade is 5 3/4" long and 1" at the widest point. It has wire wrap on the handle and brass tacks. The leather scabbard has the tip broken off. There are no makers marks. See my other knives. Please note: My husband collected many things which I recently inherited. I have many varied items that I will be selling as I get to them. There are many things that I do not know the age, or where they came from, or what the value is. You will have to be the judge. Please look at the pictures carefully before you bid.
