OLD BOWLES LUNCH COUNTER CARR CHINA RESTAURANT WARE MUG For your consideration, we are offering this fantastic old vintage restaurant ware china coffee mug from the Bowles Lunch Counter. This mug was made by Carr China Co. and is marked A-36 on the bottom. The mug has the Bowles B on the front with the words Bowles Lunch inside a circle and also has a leafy vine design aroung the top rim and on the handle. This mug is in fantastic shape showing only very minor normal wear. This is a great old coffee mug! Bowles Lunch Counter was in business from 1897 until the 1950's. It was started by Henry Leland Bowles as a businessman only establishment. There were locations in Canada as well as the U.S. This will make a great addition to any vintage Bowles Lunch Counter, Carr China, or advertising restaurant ware collection.
