New in Box. Elvis Presley Doll. Commemorating the release of the Jail House Rock 45 .P.M. Specially Numbered Collector's edition with Certificate of Authenticity. Officially authorized by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. This doll commorates the release of the Jailhouse Rock 45 R.P.M. record in 1957. The doll looks like Elvis in 1957. Some older friends of mine have asked me to sell this doll and several others for them on Ebay. I will be listing them over the next few weeks. The wife began buying collectable dolls when her granddaughter was born intending to give them to her when she reached college age. She would buy them and place them in a storage box along with the other dolls. The granddaughter informed her grandmother that she didn't want the dolls so they have asked me to sell them. The Elvis doll measures: 12" tall and comes with a "beautifully designed guitar and doll stand. The back of the box gives a short history of the release of the song Jailhouse Rock along with some pictures of Elvis at different points in his career. The doll is in excellent condition. The box, on the other hand shows some scuffed places and there are some minor surface scratches on the plastic on the front of the box.
