This item in an antique thread box for Collingborne Mills, Inc. labeled for "842 - Cloisonne (lt. turquoise blue)" Gold Medal Pure Silk Twist Thread. The box itself has some wear to the edeges and rim, but overall is in good condition.Included inside the box are: Four x 50 yard wooden spools of the #842 - Lt. turquoise blue Gold Medal Silk thread as listed on the box, all in original and unused condition. Five x 100 yard wooden spools of Collingbourne's silk finish button thread in salmon pink, described as " American Lady Lustrous Finish Bead and Purse twist". Four are in original and unused condition, the 5th has some loose threads, but appears to be almost complete. One Collingbourne's silk finish button thread in Ivory, described as " American Lady Lustrous Finish Bead and Purse twist". It has some loose threads, but appears to be almost complete. One wooden spools of Collingbourne's pure silk thread, 50 yqrds. Stamped #883, a light red. Slight use, but appears to be almost complete. One wooden spool of Berkshire & Becket Silk Co.
