Over the years I have collected a lot of Dartington crystal, and I do mean a lot! So Last week I decided to check on my collection of Dartington glasses and found I had made a mistake - My wife saw them and instead of being impressed with how many I had, she, (we), decided that we had far too many and some must go. So this listing is for a pair of ‘Sharon’ claret/white wine glasses FT115/2. They are 195mm high and have a rim diameter of 75mm and are in lovely condition. They are very similar to the (old style) ‘Sharon’ champagne flutes which I am also listing. In fact the only difference appears to be that these claret glasses have a slightly large bowl; but we regularly mix the two forms on the same table and it is impossible to tell the difference. I have a number of these glasses which appear to be surplus to requirements, but I am listing them as a pair so that people could perhaps complete a set or replace a breakage, but I would be willing to supply say half a dozen to the winning bidder if they were wanted. Since I have listed half a dozen of the champagne glasses, this is an opportunity to purchase up to a dozen ‘Sharon‘ wine glasses.
