This is a new (never used) boxed set of six mm sizes which translate to approximate; 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 1 inch in width. Overall from hooped handle to the tip they measure 10 1/4 - 11 1/4. The round handles fit your hand nicely and they can withstand a hard mallet hit. Swiss steel, which the blades are made, has been preferred by craftsman for centuries. The cutting edges are sharp and require only a slight honing. Pfeil carving chisels are recognized for the superior quality and their chisels live up to that same standard. This is a great set for the discriminating woodworker and craftsman.
