Offered for auction is a photo album from Troop 18 Harrisburg Pa chartered by the covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg pa. This unit celbrated their 40th year charter in 1953 indicating they were originally chartered in 1913. According to the handwritten notation inside the front cover this album was assembled in 1953. The album contains 106 photographs and some newspaper clippings. T are some great photographs and many have the people identified. This is a list of the names in the album. Nick Spangler, Ed Johnson, Pete Peterman, Charlie Fetterhoff, George Buffington, George Herman, Cleon Briner, Sam Mcammant, Moose Henry, Ted Henry, Tom Herman, Harry Hoyt, Jim Straning, Bob Painter, Tom Robinson, Nick Ramsey, Barry Mehaffie, Rev McKenzie, Slim Kawel, and Thomas E Meck. T are many troop snapshots from the 1950's at Gettysburg Battlefield and Hidden Valley Scout Camp located in Loysville Perry County pa. T are some great earlier photographs to include a 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" photo of the Troop flag and some of the Scouts at a display for Horsemanship, an April 1938 troop photo measuring 5" x 8" (Condition is rough). T is a very nice picture of the Scouts sitting on the Front steps of the Chartering Church dated May 7, 1938 measuring 4 1/2" x 6 1/2".
