Offered and shown is a 1985 limited edition B.S.A. 75 th Diamond Jubilee knife; it is one of the 4" stainless steel Lockback knives with custom etched inlaid handles. This knife is considered the "very limited edition", 1 of 500 (numbered 00101 thru 00600). The inlays are sterling silver and the serial number is 00469; both inlays are marked with the initials SS indicating silver of 92.5 percent purity. The tang mark reads ULSTER / LIMITED EDITION & on the reverse side is stamped U.S.A. .. The knife is presented in an 8" X11" simulated leather case with a removable wood frame incasing the knife behind a clear protective shield which can be slid out & off. This wood frame can be displayed on a desk or hung on the wall. The lettering on the simulated leather case is printed in silver matching the silver knife. T is also a card board protective slip cover. T was no gold coin issued with the silver edition but t is a raised scout trefoil embossed on the cases velvet interior. I purchased this knife new from the Remington shaver & knife shop in Omaha , Nebr. on 6/17/88. This knife has been in my personal collection and has only been displayed at Knife Club Shows.
