Also Boyd does not repeat colors in pieces so that adds to value. This lady is solid,2 1/2 inches tall. She is marked and retired. I am selling these at below Retail cost.makes a wonderful gift for glass or Doll CollectorsWill not be made in this color again.In mint condition with no dings,chips or flaws.Modern-day glass technology has mechanized many parts of the glassmaking business. However, Boyd Glass still manufactures the old-fashioned way, with a man and a mold, and not with an automated machine.Boyd Crystal Art Glass made in USA.No color ever repeated,making it more valuable as time passes. Certain colors like Vaseline & Red(has gold) are very hard to find because of cost involved in pressing.Earlier this year Boyd ceased to make Glass so these items are not readily available any longer except from collections like mine.I must sell to downsize thus these are LOW prices,well below value & below my original cost.
