Payment | Policies BPOE Elks Club PER Exalted Ruler Lodge Award - RARE!! This listing is for an extremely rare and unique award for a Past Exalted Ruler (PER) of the Elks Lodge. I do not know the full history of this item -- I purchased it from another sale. This awesome plaque was originally for the PER of a California Lodge and it was sold by his widow. It is a HUGE award plaque. It is 24" x 16" -- that's 2 feet tall by over 1-1/4 feet wide!!! I will try and describe this incredible trophy award. It's made of a large wooden base that is sturdy and strong. T is a clock in the upper portion with a golden-hued 5-point Elk Head below it. (I believe that it might be brass, but have no way to test the metal.) Below the Elk Head is a 4" x 2" engraving plate for awardee information. Surrounding these items are a replica of the Jewels worn by the Exalted Ruler. These Jewels are truly fabulous. Each link is an Elk Head with ruby Red Eyes (they glow in the camera flash!) that includes the Clock of Remembrance. Each link is 2" x 1.5" in size. The Jewels are on a PURPLE VELVET backing (it looks blue in the photos, but it is a deep dark purple). At the base of the Jewels it states PER (instead ER). The details on each one of the links is incredible! The plaque was created by Fritzgerald Fraternal and Trophy in Whittier, CA (phone numbers are on the back of the award). I'm sure you could have a local trophy shop engrave it for your own P.E.R. at your Lodge.
