Bradley & Hubbard Cast Iron Handpainted Wall Plaque Art Nouveau/Arts & Crafts cast iron round plaque with high relief, encircled in a brass ring Polychrome painted, in excellent condition Beautiful woman with holly berries and leaves, wearing hat and clutching her scarf, with hair blowing in the wind. Depicts winter. Diameter: 7.75 inches Weight: 2 lb 1 oz. Marked "B&H 1811" on reverse (1811 is the mold number, not the date!) Includes chain for hanging on the wall. Walter Hubbard and his brother-in-law N. L. Bradley, began making cast iron items for the home in 1854 in Meriden, Connecticut. This piece was probably cast in late 1800s to early 1900s.
