PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THE AGE OF THIS ITEM WHICH WAS USED AS A WORKING DOCUMENT AND CONDITION WILL GENERALLY REFLECT THAT . This offering is a very early " Bradshaw's Railway Manual , Shareholders' Guide and Official Directory 1918 " . Measures 7 " x 5 " with 695 pages plus some adverts at the front with red leather covers and all titling in gold infill . There is the original owners name inscribed on the front cover " A De C. Parmiter Esq " . Its a hand book for ALL railway companies as at 1918 with their history , position , statistics , powers and contains an A - Z of the UK and various countries around the world . What is not here regarding 1910's railway companies is not worth knowing . Important edition at the end of the first world war . I think you all know the format suffice to say there is absolutely masses of information . I have been collecting railwayana for over 40 years and in that time have amassed about 80 of these Bradshaws guides from 1849 to 1923 . I have started selling them and probably have about 60 left !!!!! . Usual start at just 99p with NO RESERVE so fill your boots !!!!!!!!! . Condition......covers are rubbed and bumped at extremities.....maps missing.......apart from that for almost 100 years old the interior is SUPERB !!!!! ......
