This item comes from an amazing collection of vintage woodworking tools that I'll be selling for a friend over the coming months. My friend has been a carpenter in central Connecticut for many decades, and has accumulated a tremendous assortment of woodworking tools. Since times have been tough on everyone for the past few years, my friend has had to decide to sell off some of this amazing collection to supplement his business. Thanks for looking & !This auction is for a beautiful Stanley No. 93 rabbet plane. This plane is brand new in its original box, and is in absolutely perfect condition. From what I've read online, this model plane was produced by Stanley until 1964, so it's remarkable to come across one of these in perfect condition. These planes were marketed as cabinetmaker's rabbet planes and were compact and built for precision work. Plane measures 6.5 long x 1 inch wide, and weighs nearly 2 pounds. The piece is made from cast iron and is entirely nickel plated. The top surface is highly polished and gleams like chrome on a Cadillac. Just an excellent vintage tool!
