Brand New Never Used State / City / Local High Intensity Reflective Street Signs! Available until they run out is this brand new never used street sign! This sign along with others I have for sale on eBay were sold as surplus recently by the government. All of the signs including this one have actually not even been mounted to a metal backing yet! This "Pavement Ends" sign measures approximately 30"x30". Modern signs are typically made from a very durable and expensive reflective vinyl that is then applied to an aluminum backing by the local government. These signs were made by 3M and are a material called Scotchlite High Intensity Reflective in yellow and white. These are the signs that reflect off your headlights at night! Why the government in all their wisdom sold these as surplus, I have no idea. I can only imagine just how much these signs cost from 3M - but I bet they are expensive! (these signs are very heavy 3M Reflective Scotchlite not yet mounted to metal backing) The great part about these unused signs is that they can be stuck or mounted to just about anything! You can cut a piece of metal to fit and mount them or just stick them right to the wall.
