Brandt JuniorAutomatic Cashier Description Brandt Automatic Cashier Company manufactured these as well as various other machines in Watertown, WI for many years beginning in the late 1800s. This particular type of unit was originally patented in 1906 with other patents coming in the 1920s. Unlike some of the others you might find, this one has never been painted and would only take a little bit of work to bring out it's original finish. All keys work and do give out the correct change. This is a unique unit in that it only accepts pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. Most that you find will accept half dollars. If you're searching for these machines you've found them on eBay for as much as $1,600. I am much more reasonable than that. It weighs approximately 30 pounds with the exit chute and will be carefully packed to ensure no damage will occur during shipping.
