The Easton Brass Band Easton, Pennsylvania. A Large Antique Framed Photograph Fixed Price Shipping:$ 14.00 Size: Image Size: 14" x 10-1/2" Overall with Frame: 15" x 17-3/4" DESCRIPTION A Fine Large Antique Photograph of the EASTON BAND, Easton Pennsylvania . The city of Easton, PA. is located in Northampton County. The Easton Band must have been in direct competition with the Allentown Band of the era, circa 1890 - 1910. The Allentown band is quite well known and well documented with much reference information available on the internet. The Easton Band however has been virtually impossible for us to learn anything about. But, they all are, a large group, all brass instruments with the exception of the two drums. We don't know anything more about the members pictured. The reverse of the mount does have a name written on it in pencil along with some dimension notes, but that's it. The name looks like Otto Roth. The photo is on a large heavy mount and in very good condition. It's been framed under glass for many years. CONDITION Excellent. T's a slight imperfection on the left side edge of the photo. This is in the print and was something created by the photographer. We've had it apart to look for clues or identities. The oak frame is sound. We've taken the opportunity to reclean everything and refit it all. New wire on
