The dorje or vajra symbolizes the thunderbolt or diamond which destroys ignorance and is itself indestructible. It is held in the right hand in tantric ritual and symbolizes the male principle. It is believed the the interaction between the male and female principle, the bell, leads to enlightenment. You are purchasing a small set of bell and dorje. The bell measures 5 inches in height and the dorje or vajra is 3.5 inches in length.
