These have been made in Africa since the 1400's. I purchased two strands from a man from Ghana, he and I decided these are from the very early 1900's. Older strands of these beads go for as much as $140. 36" extra long strand , very good condition considering age. Nice patina. Ten years ago, these were selling for $32. I am selling them below that rate and I only have two strands of this particular bead.
