Vintage Captain's Time & Tide Clock in cast brass. NEEDS A NEW CLOCK MOVEMENT, available online from Moore Clocks.Body is cast brass; weight is over 4 pounds. Measures 7" in diameter and 3 1/4" deep. Face shows time of day and time to the next tide; since tides run on about a 25 hour clock, the relationship of high and low tide to the hour shifts from day to day.Body is cast in India (see detail photo).New models sell for $275 and up.Body has patina of age (see detail photos); it will confer an authentic maritime feel to your decor, without having to go to sea.This items sells AS IS; it does not function as a clock now, but can be readily made operable.Mouse over image to zoom
