We found this old brass 1872 carriage clock at an estate..Frame measures 6 3/4" high x 5" across base x 3" deep at the base..has key in the top as shown in pictures..has beveled glass..has bell in the bottom..face is marked "A"..Frame around face is unique as it has embossed Father Time on lower left corner and on opposite side has hour glass, skull and a shovel..Clock does not run..needs repair or cleaning..It is as we found it in the spare room..(NOTE..one side glass is loose from the frame..It is there but loose)..We find no dents or physical damage..Perhaps someone out there could make this old timer work again..
