This is a soft-cover book titled THE INCORRUPTIBLE CASHIER - Vol. 2: The Brass Eera, 1888-1915, by Richard L. Crandall and Sam Robins. 8 1/2" x 11" - almost 1" thick - with 392 pages. Published in 1990 by The Vestal Press Ltd., Vestal, New York. This book covers the period 1888 to 1915, during which the cash register "clothed in fancy metal cases," spread into nearly every retail establishment. Period covers brass cash registers. Lots of illustrations and photographs (some in color). Contents includes information on the many different companies; hints on collecting; etc. Book is in fairly good condition; light creasing and soiling on covers with some slight edgewear. 2 pages are loose from the binding (3-6) and one page (1 & 2) appears to be missing?
