Welcome. This auction features a lovely ornate brass filigree handle & wooden framed Victorian Period mirror. I don;t know the age of this mirror; I don;t have any numbers or marks. This is an estate find. T is a 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" glass & wooden framed picture of a beautiful Victorian woman in a lacey top gown delicately holding a red rose; more roses overflowing her basket & a strand of pearls with rosettes in her pulled up hair. She is not the full size that I stated before, but rather in an oval shape trimmed in black & gold. The other side of the picture is a mirror which is the full 4 1/2" x 6 1/2". It looks like an original mirror; I do see age spots t The brass filigree handle which is 9 1/2" long & yes I do see that is has 2 screws mounting it to the frame. I see no way to open either the picture or the mirror sides; so I;m guessing they were both made at the same time. Nothing is cracked or broken, no chips; great condition for it's age. I don;t know much more about this except that it definitely caught my eye while being auctioned off. Please email me with any questions at all. Please remember to keep all our troops in your prayers.
