All Brass HO Scale Pacific Coast 3-Truck Oil Burner Shay from Precision Scale Company. A super detailed HO scale all brass model of a Pacific Coast 3-truck oil burner Shay geared locomotive from Precision Scale Company (PSC). The prototype engines of Pacific Coast Shay were built by Lima Locomotive Works in the 1920's in direct competition with the Willamette's (built by Willamette Iron and Steel Works of Portland, Oregon). Most were used in the timber/logging industry where speed was not a concern but durability and ruggedness are highly sought after. This limited edition Pacific Coast Shay model was manufactured by the master craftsmen in Korea and imported by PSC in the mid 1990's. Solidly built with all brass construction and factory painting. It also comes with constant intensity lighting was well as cab window glazing. A must have addition for the serious collector and modeler of geared locomotives and logging railroads. In excellent condition with no wheel wear and comes with the original box and foam. Standard shipping by USPS Priority Mail or UPS ground service and includes full insurance.
