Brass Ornate Cast 3 Light Chandelier Hanging Chain/ Cap Fixture Art Nouveau This sale is for one of Four Chandeliers that were purchased at a local Flea Market. Please check out my store as I have another Brass Fixture and also have a matched set, Retro/Deco painted. This THREE(3) light socket chandelier tests as brass (magnet does not stick), see picts. The ornate hardware used on the 'arms', hanging ring and dangling finial are made from an ornate cast metal, that had been painted/colored brass/gold but there is wear to the finish, see picts. It also does not attract a magnet and is not brass. The glass shades that could be used on this fixture are relatively easy to find. The glass shades used can make this look Victorian, or using metal socket caps with a round or unusual shaped light bulb would give this a more Deco look, see picts. These antique light fixtures work with many different decors, and will leave the amount of polishing/cleaning to the new owner. I have pictures all the way around so that you can see the detailing, and how great this will look hanging in your home, see picts. The chandelier measures approx. 14 inches across from the outside of one light socket to the other, see picts. It measures approx. 12 inches from the top of the hanging ring to the bottom of the finial, see picts. The chain, not brass, attracts a magnet, and original to the fixture, is approx. 10 inches long. The Ceiling cap has the center bar, with hanging ring, the actual cap, but will need to purchase interior mounting hardware, used to connects the fixture to the ceiling, under the ceiling cap, see picts. The wiring is older and will need rewired. This fixture is being sold as needing cleaned/restored/rewired, see picts. I have picts of the light sockets, there is a significant crack on two of the light sockets, and minor one on the third, see picts. This is restorable, but pictured/mentioned. With a little, or a lot of TLC this Chandelier will make a great decorating accessory for a wide variety of decors, see picts. I am selling this item as I purchased it, although I did clean some of the dust. There is the surface dirt/wear expected, given the age, see picts, and is being sold, as described and photographed, in "as found" condition, see picts. Please view the photos carefully and ask any and all questions before making your purchase. This item will weigh approx. 6 pound packed to ship . Items will be bubble wrapped, and packed in Styrofoam peanuts, will ship from 47869, and will include insurance. I am told that my descriptions are too wordy, and that I describe minimal damage that should be expected in vintage/antique items. They are probably right, as this is an old item and shows it's age. Please check the pictures though and make sure that I did not miss any flaws that you might notice.
