Our small brass compass packs a lot of features in a small package, with a floating directional needle, a screw off lid with working perpetual calendar and Robert Frost's famous poem, "The Road Not Taken", engraved in brass inside the hardwood display box.At just over two inches in diameter and less than an inch in height, our vintage replica compass has features not found on much more expensive models. Screw off lid keeps the unit watertight and is acid etched in black with "Kelvin and Hughes London 1917". Inside the lid cover is a working perpetual calendar made like similar ones from a century ago, but updated to be accurate through the year 2049.Walnut-stained hardwood box contains the Robert Frost's poem, "The Road Not Taken".
