Up for auction is a Brass O Sunset Models 3rd Rail PRR Pennsylvania N-1s 2-10-2, road #9860, 3-Rail Locomotive and Tender. Although the model is in very good condition, the locomotive is paired with an incorrect tender #9624 - not sure how that happened, but somebody got very careless. This is a nice 3rd Rail locomotive - good detail, particularly the backhead detail and the engineers. Large and heavy. On the test track the locomotive ran fine, and the in-cab light as well as the headlight both worked. Appears to have minimal runtime based on the wheel condition. And although the tender is still a PRR tender, and the locomotive ran fine with it hooked up, it is a tight fit where the locomotive pulling peg inserts into the tender hitch - could be fixed easily though. I'm offering this at a discounted price due to the tender situation. Original box and foam are in stable condition although the box does bow out a bit on the sides. Hopefully someone can enjoy this model - it is a nice 3rd Rail item. Please see all photos to assess condition. Ships only to the lower 48 states, no P.O. Boxes, and no returns. Good luck.
