This beautiful Brayton Laguna "Wedding Ring Grandma" Cookie Jar is a rare and historical piece from the house of Brayton Laguna Pottery. She stands 12" high and is nearly 8" in diameter and is in near perfect condition except for a minor crack on the left front side of her apron (see photo). Brayton Laguna is credited with starting the California Pottery movement and his work is characterized by the painted pottery creations he designed and was later commissioned for by Walt Disney. This piece dates from around 1940 and is marked with Brayton Laguna Pottery on the base. Although many reproductions of his work exist, this is the original!!
