The Brenham Pallasite was first recognized as a meteorite in 1882 by Dr. Crage from Washburn University in Kansas. Brenham is the largest of four pallasite meteorites that have been recovered in Kansas. Brenham is classified as a main group pallasite and is characterized by many small round olivine / peridot crystals. This polished specimen weighs 1.8 grams and come as pictured in a plastic presentation case along with a certificate of authenticity.
