*****BY THE WAY!!! THE LARGE WHITE SPOTS ON HIS COAT ARE FROM FLASH GLARE! I HAVE RECEIVED A BUNCH OF QUESTIONS ABOUT IT - AND DIDN'T REALIZE HOW BAD THEY LOOKED - THEY ARE NOT HUGE RUBS, THEY ARE FROM THE FLASH - SORRY FOR THE CRUMMY PICS. :)***** Please check out my other auctions! I will be adding MANY more items! Hi t! This auction is for a truly Vintage Breyer horse, black point dapple gray Proud Arabian Foal - and he is SOOOOO gorgeous!!! This guy is a mix of the splash dapples and halo dapples - very cool contrast! His black points go to above his hocks and knees, and the dappling on his rear legs flows down into the points - very nice! It has always been difficult for me to discern with this model w the rubs begin and w the dapples fade - his rear areas do look rubbed, but then again, it is my personal opinion that the paint on this sort of dapple always faded quite easily. He does sport bitty rubs all over his chest and especially on his hooves, ears and muzzle. What's pretty cool though - the artist only painted the TOP of his muzzle black - not his lower lip at all! He'd be a pretty nifty addition to any black point Arab herd if for his unique paint job alone! Definately not mint, but NO chips or cracks - and minimal touchups could really bring him back to life!
