This auction is for a VINTAGE and ORIGINAL publicity still photo (8" x 10") for Universal's 1935 horror classic "Bride Of Frankenstein", featuring a classic shot of Karloff as the monster with his newly created bride (Elsa Lanchester). As the photo lacks credits I am unaware of when this dates from - it could be from the original release, but the photo paper pre-dates the 1960s so it would be early 1950s at most recent. I would personally lean towards this being from the early 1950s Realart re-release, but cannot say for certain. Nice sharp photo is in hard-to-find excellent condition. Condition: See image below for best indication of condition, Photo measures approximately 8" x 10", has NOT been trimmed, and is in excellent vintage condition. It may exhibit minor general handling wear and minor wear or creases at the extreme corner tips. This is a 100% old and authentic studio-release photograph, issued during the original year that the film was released, and GUARANTEED NOT to be a reproduction of any kind. All of my pre-1960 photos are examined under UV light to certify their authenticity as vintage photos (and NOT re-strikes/reproductions from the 1960s or later, which were produced with photo paper containing OBAs or optical brightening agents).
