This auction is for a Bridge City Tool Works BP-18 Bevel Protractor.I have used this tool a few times and there is some light surface rust as shown in the pictures. This tool is no longer being made by Bridge City, so don't miss this opportunity to get this one for your shop! The following is the description from the Bridge City website:The BP-18 Bevel Protractor consists of nine components. The main protractor scale is etched on a plate of satin chromed, hardened steel (Rc 54) which is nine inches in length, just under six inches in height and is seventy thousandths thick (this is roughly twice as thick as our precision rules). The precision protractor scale is photochemically etched (the most accurate method available today) and is black filled for an easy read. And it reads direct to one half degrees and you can extrapolate to one quarter degree! The BP-18 Bevel Protractor uses an eighteen inch indicator. Made from the same hardened and plated steel as the protractor plate, this pivot arm contains the hairline cursor (beveled to avoid parallax errors) by which you set angles. The length of this arm will allow you to layout many of your angles directly without the need of transferring to another bevel. This saves you time, improves your accuracy and is particularly useful in setting up table saw miter gages! The heart of this tool read more
