Red CORONET MIDGET 16mm SUBMINIATURE CAMERA with ORIGINAL CASE -- Made in EnglandThere comes a point in every collector's life when it's time to move on. For me, that time has come. I collected Subminiature actively in the 80's and 90's and derived immense pleasure from acquiring these items, and owning them, but I have decided that it's time for me to pass the torch to a younger group of collectors. And be sure to add me to your favorites list and check back for more new listings weekly!The Red Coronet Midget at auction today really's got a strong presence! The red bakelite shows NO cracks or chips, but the surface finish is a bit dull. I think it would probably benefit from some careful freshening, but I'll leave that for the new owner. The brass faceplate shows a layer of light tarnish, but otherwise presents well, I wouldn't touch it. The original red case is really tattered, but it's been with the camera this long, it would be a pity to loose it. Of course, as always, let the photos be your guide.PLEASE NOTE : Another eBay user has brought to my attention that there is a tiny 0.5mm flake missing from the top of the right tab on the back.
